Creek District 2San Marcos Creek District - A Downtown Plan

The San Marcos Creek District is an award-winning plan designed to bring a downtown core to San Marcos complete with a walkable neighborhood of shops, restaurants, townhomes and offices along San Marcos Creek.

 The 214-acre development will run along the San Marcos Creek and will both preserve and enhance the creek in its natural state. The project calls for: 2,300 residential units; more than one million square feet of commercial space; 589,000 square feet of office space; a 20-acre park and 74 acres of urban open space.
