The safety of San Marcos’ residents and businesses is the City’s top priority. This is accomplished by service from the top-notch San Marcos Fire Department and a robust law enforcement contract with the San Diego Sheriff’s Department.

Additionally, the City oversees the graffiti abatement program, crime prevention and community-based policing efforts, neighborhood watch programs and parking enforcement programs.
