To nominate a city employee for a service recognition award, simply complete the online survey City Hall's Information Desk to submit a nomination form.
The Employee Recognition Awards Program's (ERAP) objectives include:
- recognize employees for their achievements in and dedication to public service.
- acknowledge individuals and groups who contribute to a supportive work environment.
- promote team spirit and unity of purpose within the City of San Marcos based on a shared understanding of achievement.
- involve the community and employees of San Marcos as partners in the pursuit of excellence in service delivery.
Recognition award recipients are selected quarterly by the City Manager.
