The Department of Finance and Information Technology (IT) is responsible for managing the City’s financial and information technology operations in accordance with established policies and procedures. Primary responsibilities of the Finance Division include financial reporting, budgeting, accounting, contract/procurement/grant management, treasury and debt management, business license, and administration of the City’s assessment and community facilities districts and related bond issues. The IT Division is responsible for ensuring the City’s information technology resources are effectively managed and used as key organizational tools in improving productivity, customer service, and public access to City information.
