The City of San Marcos invites families and friends to the San Marcos Halloween Spooktacular, a festive celebration for all ages. The event will take place Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Williams Barn at Walnut Grove Park, located at 1950 Sycamore Drive.

What to Expect

• A dance party and costume contest.

• Games, crafts, jumpers and treats (tickets required for most activities: $1 per activity at door).

• Free entry to the dance party and costume contest.

• Pre-registration option: For $10 you’ll receive 10 activity tickets and a free miniature Trick-or-Treat tote bag, while supplies last. Scholarships are available for pre-registration. Walk-ups will also be welcome.

• Day-of entry is available, with activity tickets for sale at the door.

This year’s Spooktacular combines two past favorite events into one, bringing more games, creativity and community togetherness in a fun, family-friendly setting. Admission to the dance party and costume contest is free. Activity tickets are $1 each at the door, and pre-registration is available for a discounted package.
