The City of San Marcos has released the draft Program Year 2024 Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER) for public review and comment. The CAPER reports on accomplishments and expenditures from the prior year of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding.

CDBG is a federal program administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). It provides annual grants to cities to fund local projects and services that benefit low- and moderate-income households. In San Marcos, CDBG funds help support affordable housing, neighborhood revitalization, and community services.

The draft report is available on the City’s website at www.san-marcos.net/cdbg and in hard copy at the City Clerk’s Office. The public comment period is open September 9–23, 2025.
