With busy roads this Labor Day weekend, the City of San Marcos urges everyone to work together to keep our streets safe. Whether you drive, walk, or ride, everyone plays a part in road safety. 

• Parents, talk to your kids about safe riding and walking—especially when using bikes and e-bikes. It’s vital they know and follow the rules of the road.  

• Drivers, slow down, stay alert, avoid distractions, and give space to riders and pedestrians. 

• Walkers and riders, make sure you’re visible—use lights, wear bright or reflective clothing, follow traffic laws, and yield when required so every trip can be a safe one.
