- Bent Avenue between San Marcos Boulevard and Discovery Street
- Craven Road at Foxhall Court
- Via Vera Cruz between San Marcos Boulevard and Discovery Street
- Discovery Street between Via Vera Cruz and S. Bent Avenue
- Discovery Street between San Marcos Boulevard and San Pablo Drive
- Discovery Street between San Marcos Boulevard and La Sombra Drive
All closures will be clearly marked and alternate routes will be provided. Motorists should use caution when driving through these areas and allow extra travel time to accommodate slowing due to wet road conditions. Please be advised that road closures and alternate routes may change without notice.
These closures are common during any type of rain event and the city is not concerned about significant mudslides or erosion at this time. Residents are urged to avoid flooded areas. Residents should obey road barricades and signs; never "sightsee" in areas with flooding or try to cross a flowing stream. Strong currents can knock you off your feet with as little as six inches of water. Swiftly flowing water as shallow as one foot can easily sweep a car from the road.
