Open for FREE public viewing

Monday through Friday | 8 am to 7 pm

Local artists can display their art for 60-day periods in the Hearth Rotating Gallery. San Marcos artists are given exhibit space priority, however all artists and photographers are encouraged to apply. Artwork must be ready to hang and suitable for family viewing.

Juried Art & Photography ShowFirst Place Photo-Steve Deck

The Juried Art & Photography Show will display from March 1 through April 30, 2018. Entries will be accepted on Tuesday, February 20 from 9 am to 6 pm at the San Marcos Community Center. Up to two entries per category per person will be accepted. $10 per entry.

Art | Oils & acrylics, watercolors, pastels, drawings, and mixed media/collage

Photography | Original prints from film or digital camera

Art will be available for viewing Monday through Friday from 8 am to  7 pm. Artists reception will be Thursday, March 8 from 5:30 to 6:30 pm where cash prizes will be awarded to top winners.

Best of San Marcos Online Photo Contest

Amateur and professional photographers are encourage to submit one image that captures the spirit of San Marcos - its people, parks, programs or other points of interest. Winning entries may be published in the San Marcos 360 News and Recreation Guide, marketing materials, social media and city website.

Photos will be accepted online only between January 8 and February 26, 2018.
