The San Marcos Parking Enforcement program is responsible for enforcing parking laws citywide while also responding to citizen requests for service.
Parking Enforcement Officers accompany the street sweeper in our residential and industrial areas, which are posted for no parking to ensure compliance in keeping the streets clear of vehicles. With support from the San Diego Sheriff’s Senior Volunteer, officers also remove abandoned vehicles from the public street, and enforce disabled parking on public and private property throughout the San Marcos.
