IMPORTANT UPDATE, RED FLAG WARNING & INTERMITTENT POWER OUTAGES:  Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018 - 10:20 am - There are NO current emergencies in the City of San Marcos. With high Santa Ana winds and red flag warnings in place through Wednesday, Nov. 14, residents can expect intermittent power outages throughout San Marcos and County of San Diego as SDG&E takes steps to keep communities safe from wildfire. To prepare, San Marcos Fire Department and the County of San Diego are recommending residents take a “Ready, Set, Go!” approach for peak fire season.
